2020 Family and Youth Ski Retreat

Registration for the Woodland Family and Youth Ski Retreat is open! This ski retreat is scheduled for Jan. 31 - Feb. 2 2020 (with an option to add an extra day of skiing on January 30). Youth, youth families and families that are a part of the broader Woodland congregation are welcome to sign up and participate in this ski retreat opportunity!

• Lodging: Blue Ridge Assembly in Black Mountain, NC
• Ski Resort: Cataloochee Ski Area in Maggie Valley, NC
  
  

Weekend Schedule

• Friday (1/31)
        Depart from Woodland (group dinner while traveling)
        Group Devotion prior to lights out/bedtime
• Saturday (2/1)
        Group Breakfast
        Travel to Cataloochee Ski Area/Group Ski Time (lunch will                   be provided at the ski slopes)
        Depart from Cataloochee Ski Area/Change clothes at 
               lodging/3 hour group time (with pizza dinner) at 
               Asheville's Fun Depot
        Group Devotion prior to lights out/bedtime
• Sunday (2/2)
        Group Breakfast
        Group Devotion/Worship Time
        Travel back to Woodland (group lunch while traveling)
        Return to Woodland by early evening

Extra Day Option Details

• Depart from Woodland on Thursday (1/30)
• Ski on Friday (1/31) and then meet back at Blue Ridge Assembly on Friday evening when other group arrives

Ski Retreat Cost
(Customarily, Youth participants receive an adjusted cost due to being offset by the Woodland Youth Fund. This price adjustment is indicated below)

• ​Youth Participant Cost (current 6th Grade and up) - $85/youth
         Cost with Extra Ski Day Option - $135/youth
  
  
• Non-Youth Participant Cost - $180/person
         Cost with Extra Ski Day Option - $270/person
  
  
• Youth Chaperone Cost - $65/person
  
  
• ALL PARTICIPANT PRICES include:
         Lodging/Ski Lift Pass/Ski Rental Equipment/Non-Travel 
         Weekend Meals/Fun Depot Pass
  
  
• Extra Costs/Additional Deductions: 
          Snow Bib Rental - $10 per person/per day
          Helmet Rental - $7 per person/per day
          Non-Skier Deduction - $64 per person
          Non-Equipment Renal Deduction - $25 per person

Ski Retreat Deposit/Payments

• A $50 per person deposit (non-refundable) is required to reserve a spot for this trip. Must accompany "Online Sign Up" below.   Deposits will be due by January 5th.
• Deposits/Payments can be submitted by placing cash/check in an envelope and placing it in the weekly offering plate beginning Sunday, Dec. 15. Envelope will need to include 1) "Ski Retreat Deposit" and 2) Participant Name(s). 
• Final Payments for all participants will be due
