Cemetery Regulations
The following regulations are hereby adopted regarding the sale and use of spaces in Woodland Baptist Church cemetery:
1. Spaces owned by Woodland Baptist Church will be sold only to members. No more than 2 spaces may be sold to any family unless justification for the need for more spaces is made to the committee. Examples include spaces for children.
2. No grave may be dug until at least 2 members of the cemetery committee shall have measured and appropriately marked the space in which a corpse is to be buried. In an emergency where only one member of the committee is available, a member of the church staff may be used as a substitute for a committee member.
3. All corpses must be buried in a vault. Only one vault per space is allowed.
4. Cremated remains may be buried in an urn without a vault. There may be up to four urns per grave space.
5. Grave markers may be either upright or surface type.
6. Memorial plaques may be placed on a grave space without a corpse. No more than four memorial plaques per grave are allowed.
7. When relocated remains are to be interred, N.C. D.O.T. specifications must be adhered to including the placing of a marker for each group.

The Cemetery Team for the 2015 church year consists of these members: Horace Macon, Marilyn Basinger, Larry Choplin, Horace Macon, Clark Martin, Sr., Clark Martin, Jr., Jeff White, Robin Whitt.
