VBS 2020 SonWorld Snacks
We welcome you to join us on a SonWorld SNACK Adventure this year for our Video VBS! You can make these themed snacks during your afternoon snack time or as a part of your evening routine as you watch VBS. Below is a list of the general items you will need. Please feel free to substitute items that you may already have on hand or ingredients that are nutritionally and allergy friendly in your house. We would love to hear from if you have any substitution questions. This is a great way for your family to talk about each daily VBS theme.

Healing Mud Eyes
Spread chocolate pudding or hazelnut spread on vanilla wafers and talk about how Jesus used mud to heal a blind man.

10 Men Snack Mix
Make a snack mix with items in increments of 10 and talk about how Jesus healed 10 men. Use any ingredients you wish (marshmallows, pretzels, cereal, raisins, chocolate chips, candies, popcorn, cookies, etc.)

Man on a Mat
Spread cake Icing (or hazelnut spread) onto the Graham Cracker Mat and spread. Add the Teddy Graham Man onto the Mat. In today’s story Jesus chooses FORGIVENESS. Jesus says to the man on the mat, “You are forgiven.”

Treasure Chest
Cut Rice Krispie Treat snack in half. Place “Treasure” between two halves. Using Cake Icing in a Tube, wrap around the outside of the Treasure Chest. In today’s story a man thinks that if he has enough treasure and follows enough rules he can enter heaven, but Jesus reminds him that obeying God means to love God and to love others.
