Middle School and High School Students

Picture
My name is Ben Fuller and I am the Youth Minister at Woodland. Middle School and High School students are important to us. We want to see teenagers be fully-devoted followers of Jesus Christ. As teenagers live out their Christian faith, they serve, lead, and grow. At Woodland, our Middle School and High School student participate in weekly Bible study and fellowship opportunities on Sunday morning, Sunday evenings, and Wednesday nights.  The Youth serve the local community through mission trips, participate in retreats, and build fellowship with one another through fun events all year long. As they learn the Christian faith, they discover how to read and apply the Bible to their lives, how to explain the Christian faith to other people, and how to hold firmly to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Bible Study

Bible study is part of Regroup on Sunday evenings. We meet in our Fellowship Hall or out and about and have a time of more traditional Bible study, share a meal together, and enjoy some fun large-group games and team-building activities!

Retreats

Annually, our youth participate in a weekend Ski Retreat at Winterplace Resort in WV. We also attend youth conferences and events across the state.

Missions

Over the last few years, our youth have shared the love of Jesus not only in North Carolina, but as far as New York City and Reynosa Mexico. Whether it be a sports camp, working with inner-city children, prayer and food for the less fortunate, or construction; Woodland Youth experience what it means to be the hands and feet of Christ first hand.

Small Group

We meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. and enjoy a discussion-based Bible study which relies heavily upon the youth themselves. This is a time for youth to decide our area of study, ask questions, and engage in conversation with one another about various topics and real-life situations.
