The Student Ministry at Woodland exists to help middle school and high school students know, love, and follow Jesus together through worship, discipleship, and missions.

Small Groups

We encourage students to meet in small groups to discuss what it means to be a student following Jesus. Organic hangouts like lunch after church, Goodberry’s after Midweek, or coffee during the week make for great opportunities to build community and grow as a Christian.

Student Ministry Safety Policy

At Woodland, we take the safety of every middle school and high school student seriously.  All of our leaders, teachers, and trip chaperones are active in the life of our church, have completed a Student Protection Training Course, and have a recent background check. We take significant precautions to ensure the safety of students in every activity and on any trip, whether local or overnight.
​We are parents, too.  

Missions

We hope to see every student participate in local mission efforts, a mission trip in NC or elsewhere in the United States, and a mission trip internationally by the time they graduation from high school.
