Senior Adult Ministry
The Christian Faith is for all ages. Older Christians play a vital role in passing along wisdom from the Bible and experiences from years—often decades—of following Jesus. We offer senior adults opportunities to grow in their faith, exercise their faith, invest in younger Christians, and build Christian community with one another. We know that often when people retire from employment they have more time they want to dedicate to serving other people, learning about Jesus, and connecting with other people.
Besides Sunday worship and Wednesday night activities where all ages gather to connect with Jesus and one another, senior adults (known as the Keenagers!) have opportunities for Bible studies, Sunday School classes, and events specifically for them. Our seniors take trips together, have lunch outings, and plan other activities throughout the year. If you are a senior adult, there is a place for you at Woodland! To learn more, email Alan and Kathy Woodlief.
