Service in our community
We believe in serving those in need as Christians who love God and love our neighbors. Sometimes our “community” is literally the area around where our people live. But it often means traveling to other parts of the state, country, or world to help people who have needs we can meet and share with them the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We serve these communities through our Baptist Men and Women Service Ministry.
The Baptist Men & Women (BMW) share the message of God's love and salvation through serving those in need. The BMW serves in conjunction with the NC Baptists on Mission and also travels around the country to help with disaster relief efforts resulting from hurricanes, tornadoes, and winter weather events. Local community projects are primarily handicap ramps, some small home repairs, and occasional yard work. Monthly breakfast fellowship meetings and work days are normally scheduled for the second Saturday of each month at 8:30 am. Click here to RSVP to attend the next upcoming breakfast meeting.
