Worship Ministry
Sunday morning worship is central to life at Woodland. We gather each week to worship God through singing, praying, giving to fund ministries and care for those in need, sharing in the Scriptures, and connecting with other another to help us grow in our faith in Jesus. The Worship Ministry affords opportunities for all of us to share in worshipping God.
Music is a vital part of worship in the Bible and at Woodland. We sing as a way to share the Gospel with each other, but we also sing to remember the truth of the Gospel. Music is a great way to learn! Our vocalists and instrumentalists help lead us in worshipping through music. There is a place for every level of experience, every age, and every talent. With a choir, instrumentalists, praise team, and support positions, anyone can participate in the Worship Ministry at Woodland.
An important part of our worship ministry is a team of men and women who serve the congregation “behind the scenes” through the technology of audio, video, and lighting. It’s an important ministry that happens without people recognizing they are there!
Increasingly, our online presence is important for people to discover Woodland or to connect virtually when they are unable to participate in person because of sickness, travel, etc. Our livestream team is vital to our online community of worshippers.
